Dallas Maternity Couples Boudoir Session

This isn’t my first snake photoshoot, but it is my first maternity session with one! Of course, I am over the moon to share this gorgeous maternity session. Perla and Elijah have been clients of mine for a few years now for family photos. When Perla told me she was expecting, we of course had to plan a badass session for her. She came to me with the idea to do a snake photoshoot and I of course obliged. It took us some time to find a snake handler in DFW to provide the snakes, but we eventually found two wonderful reptile educators willing to lend us a hand. I am super happy to announce that snake photoshoots can be a reoccurring session theme to those interested!

Perla wanted a medusa type of vibe so we opted for dark make-up and a gorgeous black duster robe. For a few shots we added a snake headdress to bring the look to the next level. Maternity sessions are already peak goddess energy, but the snakes added a whole new dimension to the maternity boudoir photoshoot. After we photographed with the snakes, Perla and Elijah wanted a bit of time for some couples boudoir shots. I love the energy and chemistry the two them have. They definitely made my job super easy. All I had to do was tell them to pretend I wasn’t there and magic was created. We are planning a full couples boudoir session in the near future once Perla has recovered from having her newest edition. I cannot wait to share future images of them!
