Thank you so much for taking the time to look through my work. All of the photos below are of real people, just like you. They have their own insecurities and don't always believe they are photogenic. If you've ever thought that, browse through and see how photogenic these beautiful people are and know you are just as beautiful. I hear almost all my clients disclaim "I'm really awkward in photos" or "I've never liked photos of myself", to which I reply, "You haven't been photographed by me yet." Your body is a work of art and I promise you will look just like a painting. Let's create some magic together!

Boudoir Photography with a Fine Art Approach

Fine art boudoir photography is an elevated approach to intimate portraiture that prioritizes artistic composition, cinematic lighting, and emotional depth over conventional or commercial aesthetics. Rooted in art history and guided by the same principles that define fine art such as intentionality, beauty, and meaning, fine art boudoir creates images that transcend the personal and become truly "collectible worthy" works of art.

Royal Lune Photo's approach to fine art boudoir is distinguished by my painterly composition, art-historical influences, and deep commitment to emotional authenticity. I draw from movements including the Pre-Raphaelites, the Renaissance era,  and pictorialist photography to create boudoir imagery that is as much fine art as it is portraiture.

Fine art nude photography focuses on the human form the way a painter studies a figure, for its lines, its shadow, and the shape it makes within a frame. It sits apart from boudoir, because there is no lingerie or narrative of undressing involved, only the body itself as the subject. I light and pose these sessions the way I would set up a Renaissance style figure study, working with directional light and negative space to sculpt the form. The result reads closer to a Greek statue or oil figure study than a typical nude photograph, with soft shadow, deliberate cropping, and posing built around the line of the body.

A lot of people find me through my boudoir work and assume that's the only thing I shoot, but portrait sessions are just as much a part of what I do. If you want to book a session in a dress, jeans, or whatever outfit you already love, with zero lingerie involved, that's exactly what a portrait session with me looks like.

Portrait sessions still carry the same painterly approach I bring to every session: intentional light, color, and composition inspired by the Pre-Raphaelites, the Renaissance, and the other art movements I draw from. The difference is simply the wardrobe and the mood. Whether it's a bridal portrait, a maternity session, or something built around your own concept, a portrait session is the place to start if boudoir isn't what you're looking for.

Maternity Photography

Maternity photography is a chance to document your body in its most transformative season, styled and lit the same way I approach every fine art session. Sessions can be soft and romantic with flowing fabric and natural light, or built around a specific concept and color palette. I photograph maternity clients in studio, outdoors, and in water, in whatever setting fits the story you want to tell about this pregnancy.

Bridal Portrait Photography

Bridal portraits are a separate session from full wedding day photography, usually scheduled before or after the wedding so there is time to slow down and work closely with the dress, the light, and the setting. These sessions lean into the same painterly, romantic style found throughout my boudoir and portrait work, with movement, fabric, and dramatic light carried through the entire shoot.

Fantasy Photography

My style of fantasy portraits is a perfect blend of my work all coming together. By combining dreamy and romantic visuals with themes of mythology, my take on fantasy photography is just as much fine art as the rest of my portraiture. Fantasy sessions are perfect for those wanting a unique take on traditional portraits. Whether you are wanting a fantasy inspired boudoir session, a fairytale bridal shoot, or capturing your latest Renaissance Fair attire, a fantasy photoshoot is a must have experience for all fantasy lovers.

Romantic Couples Photography

Couples photography covers every way I photograph two people together. Whether you are looking for a spicey couples boudoir session, engagement portraits, or a session to celebrate a new milestone, all my couples sessions focus on connection and intimacy.

Couples boudoir is its own genre within this category: an intimate session built around two partners together instead of one person alone. It can be playful, romantic, or slow and deliberate, depending on the two of you, and it works well as an anniversary gift, a wedding gift, or simply a way to document a relationship at a specific point in time.

Couples Boudoir Photography

A couples boudoir session usually blends genuine physical connection, such as an embrace, a kiss, hands intertwined, with the same soft lighting and intentional styling found in my solo boudoir work. Wardrobe can range from lingerie to nothing at all, and every session is built around whatever level of intimacy feels right for the two of you that day.

Engagement Portrait Photography

Engagement and anniversary sessions mark a specific milestone, an engagement announcement or another year together, and are styled to match that occasion. These sessions are created to showcase who you both are as couple. Through styling, wardrobe, setting, and props, I create a couples photoshoot which reflects your relationship and how you wish to express yourselves.

Dallas Wedding Photography

Fine art weddings and elopements includes all weddings I photograph, from full celebrations across the Dallas-Fort Worth area to non-traditional elopements. Whether you're planning a local DFW wedding, destination wedding, or something else entirely, every couple gets the same fine art, documentary eye: real moments composed with intention.

Elopements are where I get to lean into more of a fine art approach.  Whether you're having a wedding day at the Texas Renaissance Festival, your parents house, or a hike to a private overlook, you can rest assured I will capture every dreamy detail. Destination elopements are especially a love of mine due to the intimate setting and typically more time for artsy photos. However your day takes shape, it's photographed with the same fine art attention as everything else in my portfolio.

Concept & Editorial Photography

Dallas Editorial Photographer

Creative and editorial photography covers the sessions that don't fit neatly into a single category: concept driven shoots built around a theme, a story, or a specific commercial need. Concept sessions are planned with a visual mood board and oftentimes include custom wardrobe, professional styling, and set design.

I often work with fellow creatives, such as tattoo artists, musicians, content creators, stylists, authors, and fellow photographers on branding photography built around their creative identity. While these sessions often include professional headshots, these sessions are much more than a typical headshot session.

In addition to branding sessions, I take on fantasy and commissioned concept work for album covers, book covers, productions, fashion brands, and more.

Creative Branding Photography

Branding photography is built around your identity as an brand, content creator, or artist,  as well as the work you make and the audience you're speaking to. For tattoo artists, musicians, authors, and other creatives, I build a concept around your practice, whether that means styled portraits in your studio, a themed shoot tied to a recent project, or images made specifically for your website and social media.

Special Effect Makeup & Body Painting Photography

Special effect makeup and body paint sessions combine photography with another artist's craft, whether that's a full SFX transformation or hand painted body art. The artists I work with use water based, skin safe body paint matched directly to a specific concept or reference piece, and I plan lighting and posing around the paint work itself so every detail reads clearly in the final image.

Fantasy and commissioned photography is often for an album cover, a book cover, production, a fashion campaign, or a personal vision you want to bring to life. These sessions start with a custom mood board to nail down wardrobe, location, props, and aesthetic before your session to create the creative photoshoot you have always dreamed of.
