Celeste’s Healing Journey with Nature Boudoir Photography

Celeste is the love child of Liv Tyler and Kate Winslet. Upon meeting her, I immediately knew her beauty was not skin deep. Celeste is such a gentle, poetic, and beautiful soul and I think her Texas boudoir photos show that perfectly. Between her soft demeanor and long, elf like hair, Celeste was a total joy to photograph and get to know. When Celeste first contacted me, she told me she was drawn to my work based on my approach to boudoir photography. To me, boudoir is much more than sexy or beautiful photos. Honestly, my biggest desire for each session is for healing to take place. What made you choose Royal Lune Photo?

“Firstly, Heather’s work is so inspiring! I love the way she transforms photos into works of art. What sealed the deal for me though was reading more about her – I could tell how passionate she is about her work, and I felt as though we were kindred spirits.”

Did your session alter how you view yourself, your body, etc.?

“It definitely helped the way I view my body. Heather was encouraging throughout the entire shoot! She guided me into positions where I felt strong, beautiful and graceful. I forgot all about my body insecurities, and it was incredibly freeing. “

What was your favorite part of your boudoir photography experience?

“I had a bare face, barefoot, and was stripped down to underwear for most of the shoot. Those things helped me feel like my most authentic self and allowed me to truly connect to this Earth. Submerging my body into the water felt like home. That was my favorite part.”

How did you feel when you first saw your photos?

“Upon seeing my photos, I felt alive. Let me explain: I’ve been on the verge of death most of my life. The traumas I carry are heavy and unyielding, and I’ve spent many years wanting to die. This year I celebrated my 30th birthday. I am the happiest I’ve ever been. I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life wanting to live it. In these photos, I see a woman filled with life.”

Anything else you would like to share about your outdoor boudoir experience?

“Heather is an incredibly kind soul, and I feel grateful to have worked with her. I couldn’t have asked for more out of my outdoor boudoir shoot. I felt instantly connected to her in a way that put me at ease – a rare occurrence for me. She guided me and genuinely helped me to connect deeply with nature. I am a nature lover at heart so this was a rewarding experience that I will never forget.”
