When Nikki showed up to her session with this magical green wig, I almost died of happiness. I work with Nikki multiple times a year to photograph her different gowns and creative projects. This time around, she needed dryad costume design photos of her latest project. Not only did she create the costume, but she did all her own make-up as well. Nikki is so talented and so much fun to photograph. Her last session with me was for her Swan Lake inspired gown which you can see here!

We met at Oakmont Park in Fort Worth at sunset in order to get the most dreamy, ethereal lighting. Oakmont Park is a local favorite of mine, especially for nature sessions. One of my favorite accessories Nikki wore was her fairy light crown. As the sun left us, her crown was so gorgeously lit. She brought some flameless candles and lanterns for after-dark. Funny enough, I found a street lamp in the park in order to get some extra lighting for some of the last shots below. I love how the night photos came out and I know Nikki does too.
