When Anna contacted me to photograph her Persephone inspired headpiece, I was over the moon. I’ve always been inspired by artists such as Nona Limmen and I could not wait to photograph my own eerie photos. Anna was looking for Dallas fantasy photography specifically to advertise her small business Sirens in Symmetry. Working with other local creatives is so fulfilling and I absolutely loved making her vision into a reality. There is something about dark fantasy fashion that truly speaks to me creatively.

After booking her photo shoot with me, Anna described her headdress and vision for her session. Persephone is known as the goddess of death and the dried flowers Anna used in the headpiece represent this. We decided on a graveyard location to fully capture the essence of death Persephone represents. With the winter spire trees and grey skies, Anna’s death inspired shoot was perfect. I am elated Anna searched for Dallas fantasy photography and trusted me with her vision.
