Dallas Nude Photographer | Witchy Boudoir Session

February 16, 2020

I remember when I found the large, beautiful antler while hiking at The Fort Worth Nature Preserve. My husband and I were exploring the morning away when he noticed it off the trail. When I laid my eyes on it, I knew I had to use it as a Dallas nude photographer. For those of you who don’t know me personally, you may not know that I am a vegan. I am very passionate about animal welfare and try my absolute best to be as cruelty free in my life as possible. My husband asked me how I felt using an animal part in a shoot and my answer was immediate. I wanted to bring new life to an animal who died by natural means. I’m not using a bucks beautiful antler as a trophy, rather I am breathing new life into a life lost.

Antlers always remind me of Artemis, the Greek Goddess of the wild. She was always my favorite in Greek myth and I feel her character is so powerful and gorgeous. McKenzie did a wonderful job portraying the Artemis in my mind and the antler was a wonderful partner.

This shoot was recently published in The Art of Portrait Magazine. Click here to purchase your own copy of the magazine! Enjoy a few preview shots below of the feature. Inspired by this nude boudoir session? Book your own enchanting session with me here!
