Have you ever met a mermaid? I hadn’t until I met Brianne. Can we all just agree that her hair is so freaking gorgeous? Meeting her at the Dallas Boudoir Studio, I was immediately inspired. Brianne is so sweet, probably one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She was nervous, but I knew once we started going, she would have fun. She showed me the outfits she brought, and well, I just about fainted. Not only is her hair mermaid-like, but she brought a blue velvet vintage lingerie set.

If you are familiar with my work, then you know how much I like prisms, fog, and plants. I try to use them in most of my sessions. Being creative and thinking outside the box is the only way I remain creatively stimulated. Brianne’s boudoir session at The Lumen Room took place in the evening. The light was dim and moody, perfect for her blue hair and fog. Her session ended and I knew she would love her photos. They are feminine, artsy, and magical – perfect for a mermaid like her.
