I’ve always been obsessed with vintage styled bookstores. The smell, retro carpet, and narrow passageways always bring me to another time. When I first visited Recycled Books in Denton, I knew I wanted to photograph a bookstore photo shoot. Lauren is a tattoo artist at Dark Age Tattoo Studio in Denton and felt the same way I did about this one of a kind bookstore. Being a fellow reader and artist, I knew she would fit right in the artistic environment Recycled Books provides.

One of my favorite things about this bookstore photo shoot with Lauren was her red hair. I loved how her her matched her vintage styled outfit. In my opinion, this gave the photo shoot a complete vibe and look. We had a blast posing with different books, records, hair flips, and  playing with some directional lighting. I would love to photograph more clients at this location!
