Chelsea and I arrived at Airfield Park in the later part of the evening. Between the waterfall, massive tree roots, dusty fields, and forests, we had a lot of variety to work with. The first half of the shoot we explored these different locations, stopping when we found a favorable spot for an image. As beautiful as Chelsea is, it wasn’t hard to find any spot that suited her. I hope you enjoy this Airfield Falls Trailhead Conservation Park portrait session starring Chelsea.
Chelsea currently lives in Dallas, where she works at as an office assistant and goes to school. Her dream, however, is to study archaeology at Aberdeen University in Scotland. She hopes to attend next year. As someone who has visited the beautiful U.K., I am super excited for her!
She also has a Scottish Fold rescue cat named Hermione, who had her own Instagram. This brings me to my next point. Like me, Chelsea has a lot of love for the Harry Potter series. It was very easy to befriend someone who loves Harry Potter, nerd culture, and cats as much as I do.
As night fell, we lit a candle on a a gold antique candle-holder. We soon found she wasn’t the only one lighting up the night, as dozens of fireflies joined us. i have a love for harry potter myself. as soon as you mentioned her cats name, i thought harry potter! you did a beautiful job capturing chelsea. i love the touch of the candle lit photos. airfield falls seems to have been the perfect place for these.
I grew up in the Dallas area but have never been to airfield falls. I love the gorgeous moodiness of these!

As I read your story and gazed at the beautiful photos, I couldn’t help but think “She’s someone I’d love to know” The images truly brought to life her personality. I especially loved those in the darkness with the candle. Something tells me she’s a light to those who know her. x
